Hollywood is the epicenter of movie making, steeped in history and responsible for producing some of the biggest movies, actors and actresses of all time, step onto Hollywood Boulevard and be instantly transported to tinsel town. Authentic architecture and the famous Walk Of Fame, will give you the impression that you have landed in the centre of the entertainment universe, the rest is up to your imagination. Check out the Lake Hollywood Spectacular, on Saturdays and selected holidays, where an incredible fireworks display lights up the sky.

If you are looking for something a little more futuristic, check out Sci-Fi City, where you will find the city of the future. Check out the modern devices that are in operation and witness the inter galactic battle between good and evil. If white-knuckle, adrenalin fuelled rides are your thing, then you came to the right place. Accelerator sends you on a spinning ride that will test your stamina while TRANSFORMERS The Ride, offers the ultimate 3D battle! Maybe going back in time is more your pace and if that’s the case then Ancient Egypt is the place for you. Check out the amazing pyramids and obelisks as you head back to 1930’s inspired Egypt, where terrible curses were unleashed and tombs of ancient Pharaoh’s were discovered. Go treasure hunting in your own jeep through an Egyptian excavation site or plunge into the darkness of the Revenge Of The Mummy attraction, if you dare!

The Lost World is a must if you love your dinosaur movies. Split into two themed areas, you have the choice of Jurassic Park and Water World. Both inspired by the movies of the same name and incorporating dense tropical forest where dinosaurs lurk and where action and adventure awaits! There are countless adventures to be had here, from the Dino-Sarin, where children can pilot their very own Pteranodon to the Jurassic Park Rapids adventure which takes you through dinosaur habitats in a fast moving river raft. Far Far Away is the ultimate fairytale land, where talking donkeys and beautiful princesses await. It’s home to the Shrek 4-D adventure, a must visit for fans of animation. For something a little less stressful, climb aboard Enchanted Airways and enjoy a junior roller coaster ride over Far Far Away. The final themed area is Madagascar and is an adaptation of the DreamWorks animation film, bringing the tropical jungle to life and filling it with all your favourite characters.

Universal Studios is a great day out, but for those that want to enjoy a bit more time to explore there a range of hotels within the resort, so you never have to eave! There are also dining and shopping options throughout all of the themed areas, making it a fun packed adventure for all the family. The Casino is also a popular adult attraction, giving you the opportunity to try your hand on the roulette wheel or the slot machines. There is a strict dress code for the venue so please check these before entering. Away from the themed areas within Universal there are also other attraction options, from the stunning S.E.A. Aquarium, Adventure Cove waterpark, Dolphin Island, The Maritime Experiential Museum and the Trick Eye Museum, there are numerous options on how you spend you time once you get here!
