The Sunshine Nation Good Times

After the huge success of the recent carbon-neutral Garden Beats festival, the team behind Sunshine nation could be forgiven for taking some time and putting their feet up! Nothing could be further from the truth, their determination to deliver the finest events for their demanding community sees them dropping into Zouk on Thursday March 15 for The Sunshine Nation Good Times, with Mount Kimbie and Kim Ann Foxman (DJ Set).

Mount Kimbie

It’s yet another fantastic opportunity to enjoy two artists at the very top of their respective games. Mount Kimbie, aka London electronic duo Dominic Maker and Kai Campos, are currently on a lengthy world tour, that sees them drop into Asia before heading back to Europe for a series of dates through march and April before heading to North America in May. The demand for their live show is ever growing and the release of the third long player, ‘Love What Survives’, will do nothing but fuel that fire. Universally acclaimed it has captured the imagination since its September 2017 release. The most recent release, Turtle Neck Man, sees the duo team up again with King Krule.

Kim Ann Foxman

As if that weren’t enough to tempt you to the dancefloor, and it is, Sunshine nation has also announced that respected underground beat master Kim Ann Foxman will take on deck duties after the live performance. The Firehouse Recordings label boss has been at the heart of many of the finest cutting edge parties of recent years. With a philosophy of playing and making music that makes her happy, Kim Ann Foxman has connected with clubbers on every continent as well as delivering soundtracks for brands such as Gucci, Dior Homme and Adidas, to name only a few. It’s a strong combination for a night of boundary-challenging electronic music from two talented visionaries. Doors open at 8.30pm.
