One of the must visit Singapore attractions is the Cable Car ride, not only does it offer an exhilarating experience as it spans the harbor but it also gives you the chance to soak up the sights as it heads from Mount Faber through Harbour Front to Sentosa. The highest of the three cable car stations is Mount Faber but, before you step into your cable car for the journey down and across the bay, check out some of the great eateries and shops as well as the lush green area that offers a cool spot for families to hang out. As one of Singapore’s oldest hill top parks, there is plenty to do.
Stepping into your cable car can be daunting, especially if heights is not your thing, but you are perfectly safe. The car takes off at pace moving away from the station and, as the ground beneath you disappears rapidly, there’s no time to be afraid. Catch your breath and enjoy the unique vantage point as you pass over Mount Faber Park, Harbour Front, Universal Studios, Sentosa Island and Resorts World Sentosa below. If you are lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the dolphins below. There are numerous ways to get to Sentosa island but this is by far the most exciting. Exit the car at the Imbiah Sentosa Cable Car Station and explore the amazing island. If your white knuckle experience on the cable car have you looking for more adrenalin fuelled adventures, check out the Tiger Sky Tower Tower ride or the downhill Skyline Luge. There are also many more rides to enjoy at Universal Studios or check out the Mega Zip Adventure park for another high flying adventure.
