Neon Lights Festival 2019

Posted on 15/10/2019

Neon Lights, the immersive music and arts festival, returns to Singapore Saturday 23 and 24 November at Fort Canning Park, bringing with it a diverse selection of talented performers from all over the world. Headliners already announced include Mumford & Sons, HALSEY, Honne and AURORA and the organisers have just added the second phase of talent that will entertain you across the two-day extravaganza.

Making a welcome return to Singapore is Australian soul sensation Nick Murphy (aka Chet Faker) and Canadian jazz/ funk trio BadBadNotGood. There are Singapore debuts from Grammy-winning English electronic producer Mura Masa and American singer-songwriter Gus Dapperton. It represents yet another fantastic array of international talent that ensures there is something for everyone across the two-day festival, no matter what your musical preference. No matter where you look on the line-up, there is a world class performer, including Australian psych-rock titans King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Mexican-American indie pop troubadour Cuco, DJ duo Fleetmac Wood, fast-rising Australians Cosmo’s Midnight, electronic-indie duo Joan, and Filipino-Irish singer-songwriter AndreaH. There is also local talent in the shape of folk-blues set-up Shak & the Baits, buzzy funk band MMLD which takes a break from its residency in Le Noir MBS (every Saturday) to take to the main stage and the lively roving party-starter Mariachi Viva Mexico.

While music plays a huge role on the Neon Lights Festival, there is plenty to capture your imagination during the two-day gathering in November. The popular Silent Disco Asia will return as will Neon Nooks and you can check out art from Bloco Singapura, South African visual artist Francois Knoetze, as well as Neon Kids, which will be available on both days. Add a selection of gourmet food options and rinks available across the festival and it becomes a must-visit adventure in Fort Canning Park. Neon Lights offers a fully immersive festival experience for all your senses across two days – November 23 and 24 – in the spectacular setting of Fort Canning Park. Tickets are available now, so don’t waste any time.
