Glow Festival has announced details of its 2019 event, taking pace on Sentosa Island on May 25, encouraging everyone to ‘Reset – Refresh – Recharge’. Combining yoga, a 5k charity fun run, music and mouth watering food and drink, it offers a multitude of choices on what type of festival you want to experience. Choose one, or get involved in all of the Glow activities and make the very most of the day. Glow Festival runs from 7.00am until 23.00.
The morning kicks off at 7.ooam, with the 5k charity fun run starting at 7.15. Register for the 5k run and for everyone that finishes the run, AIA will donate $10 to the AIA Centennial Fund that goes to benefiting more than one hundred families from Children’s Wishing Well. Yoga lovers can also get an early start, explore 22 different Yoga styles, with more than 30 Yoga classes curated by Pure Yoga, one of Singapore’s leading studios. There will be a range of classes across the day, from beginners to advanced, meaning there is something for everyone. Marysia Do, the Queen of the handstand will be on hand to help strengthen your body and mind and Laura Kasperzak aka Laura Sykora, with 1.2 million followers in Instagram, one of the biggest names in Yoga.
Keep your energy levels up all day as your favourite Singaporean cafes and restaurants prove that festival bites don’t always have to be unhealthy. With a variety of healthy nibbles to be enjoyed, you can take part in all of the Glow Festival activities. Once the daytime schedule has completed, focus turns to the music stage, where award winning DJ/ Producer Lost Frequencies and global chart toppers Rudimental, as well as Nina Nesbitt, currently on tour with the UK based combo, will be supported by Singapore’s The Sam Willows offer a varied musical soundtrack until 23.00.
