Ulu Cliffhouse has introduced itself to the music loving residents of Bali, on the back of several high profile gatherings featuring some of the world’s most exciting artists. Friday April 6 sees yet another collaboration that is sure to capture the imagination as Guy Gerber brings his famous Rumors concept to the clifftop in Uluwatu.
Rumors started life as a beach bar party overlooking Playa d’en Bossa in Ibiza, where it got s popular it had to move, causing a roadblock on the beach every week. The party was free, it featured invited guests, all decided on by Guy Gerber and it encapsulated that authentic Ibiza vibe that saw the small Balearic island become the clubbing capital of the world. Rumors has evolved considerably since those early days, maintaining its simple philosophy of playing good music to good people taking that unique Ibiza vibe and translating it to other spaces around the club world.
When it comes to venues, there are few that compete with the brand new beach club concept that is Ulu Cliffhouse. The elegant space, located on the edge of a cliff, enjoys a spectacular panoramic view of the coastline and offers a luxurious spot in which to while away the day and night. From the stylish cabanas to the comfortable loungers, the pool to the front row tables in the restaurant that offer miles of uninterrupted sea view, Ulu Cliffhouse is unique in every way. That is what makes it the perfect destination for Guy Gerber, another fan of the road less travelled, an artist who has built a global following on his determination not to conform. As talented in the studio as he is in the booth – Gerber has worked with a range of artists, from P Diddy to Dixon – Guy Gerber has seen his Rumors party spread its wings and deliver roadblocks in Mykonos, London, Los Angeles, New York and Buenos Aires, to name just a few. Next stop on the global quest is Bali and Ulu Cliffhouse on Friday April 6.
